
MK Stone is an award-winning, multi-genre writer of romance and women’s fiction. Her earliest achievements include winning her 8th Grade Spelling Bee and being named the “Popcorn Editor” of her high school literary magazine (she sold popcorn at lunch to raise money for printing). She is a 2-time 2026 Golden Heart finalist for the coveted Romance Writers of America award in Contemporary Romance and Love Across Genres, and her YA has been recognized by multiple RWA chapter contests. She lives on the New England seacoast with 2 dogs and 2 kids, and is known for writing epic love stories with humor and warmth and memorable characters who will always find their way back to each other.

Education: BA in English from the University of Vermont. BS in nursing from Simmons University, where she graduated cum laude.
Favorite food: Chinese takeout. Although Mexican is a close second!
